Dr. TEIXEIRA

Dr. Rae Teixeira looks forward to providing patient care to the community of Roncesvalles at Owl Optometry, seeing patients of all ages. She has clinical interests in vision therapy, neurofunctional prescribing, orthokeratology and myopia management. When she's not taking care of patients, Dr. Teixeira loves cooking, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors. 

Dr. Teixeira earned her degree from Queen's University in 2016 and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2020, where she completed her Doctor of Optometry. During her studies, she was honoured with the Ocular Instruments Award of Excellence, the ICO Research Award, and the Metro Optics Contact Lens Scholarship. Additionally, she gained valuable experience through diverse clinical externships throughout the United States and Canada.
